Delete Duplicate Employee Entry

Occasionally HR is interrupted while creating a new employee in JDE and they have to start the process over again. This creates a problem as the system already registers that this employee exists. They then request that the original entry be deleted. 

  1. In JDE go to Address Book Revisions

  2. Search for employee by Alpha Name or Address Number (Employee ID) if provided

    1. May need to change Search Type to E for Employee

  3. Once found, check the box next to the employee and click the delete (red garbage can) button in top navigation.

Sometimes there are two entries. Ask HR to identify by Address Number (Employee ID) which one they would like removed.
