Disabled JDE User ID - Changing A JDE Password


A JDE user ID will become disabled after 3 invalid sign on attempts. 

To reset their login count:

In fast path enter "p98owsec"

-userid

-Find

-Select

-Row

-Revise Security

-Change user status to 01

  

To reset their password to a new password:

Log into JDE with your username and then in fast path enter "5/gh9052"

On this screen enter their username and then enter a temporary password.  Make sure that Security Future Use 3 is checked.

When they log into JDE with the temporary password, they will be prompted to change their password to whatever they want under the restrictions of

 Minimum length of 6 characters - max length 10 characters

At least 1 number

At least 1 letter

At least 1 special character

No more than 2 consecutive characters
