Denovo is allowing RARA direct entry to the same url we use for the Production environment based on RARA’s IP address. This is more secure than our previous process (see below).

If RARA’s IP address changes, we just have to open a ticket with Denovo and they’ll update it.

OLD SYSTEM as of 9/2/2021:

RARA accesses JDE through a different URL than City staff.

They go to: http://172.21.1.18:8000/JDE

Our firewall is set to allow specific IP addresses of the RARA computers to communicate to JDE through that URL.
