Eventbrite - City Account

The Rochester Hills Eventbrite account was created to allow various departments to self-manage their events including payments, ticketing, notifications, etc. Their respective areas of the website link to their Eventbrite pages.

The Rochester Hills account signin uses eventbrite@rochesterhills.org. (This is a city email address created for this purpose. Passwords for both are maintained in the MIS password keeper.)

Organizer Profiles

There are five (5) Organizer Profiles:

  • City of Rochester Hills (primary profile)

  • Rochester Hills Fire Department (eventbritefire@rochesterhills.org)

  • Rochester Hills Mayor’s Office (eventbritemayor@rochesterhills.org)

  • Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm (eventbritemuseum@rochesterhills.org)

  • Rochester Hills Outdoor Engagement (eventbriteoutdoors@rochesterhills.org)

  • Rochester Hills Clerks Office (eventclerk@rochesterhills.org)

Each organizer profile has its own email group associated with it noted in parentheses above.

Email Routing

Notifications sent through Eventbrite go to the primary account email address (eventbrite@rochesterhills.org). Filters are set up in that account to forward emails to the appropriate sub-organizer profile email groups.

  • Questions from attendees - These emails go to all users. The Organizer Profile is not identified in these emails, thus they are forwarded to all email groups. Users know to ignore the emails not intended for them.

  • Direct emails - Occasionally, an attendee will email the primary email address directly. They are forwarded to the appropriate group manually.

Users

Eventbrite Users are added or removed under Team Management.

  • Important: When adding or removing a user, remember to add or remove them from the corresponding email group in Google Workspace.
