Jamboard Notes

Layers:

The Jamboard functions on two layers.  A writing layer and an object layer.

The writing layer is always on top and can be erased.

The object layer consists of all other objects and must be dragged to the bottom to be deleted

Google Meet

The current person talking is the active camera displayed on the Jamboard

You cannot mute other participants.  This must be done on a separate device

You cannot display the board and use the camera on the board at the same time

Things to note

Jam must be assigned an owner or it won’t be saved

Outside files must be available in Drive in order to be added to a Jam

Outside files are placed into a Jam as a picture object.

Jams shared to other users are shared either as a Jam if the user is added as a collaborator or as a PDF or PNG file if they are just simply shared to an email address
