Fire Stations 2 - 5 are no longer on the system per Steve Springstube

If one of the Fire stations 2 thru 5 stops responding it is likely that the static IP address assigned to the site has been changed to a dynamic DHCP address. This will prevent us from contacting the site. Call WOW business solutions at number shown below. Give them the account number and have them reset the address to the one shown above for the site.  They may ask for the firewall  MAC address. Once WOW confirms that they have re-assigned the correct IP address the Netgear Prosafe Firewall at the site will have to be power cycled to get it to accept the new address. Call the station at the number below and if you get someone ask them to power cycle the firewall. If you can't get a hold of anyone you will have to visit the fire station and do it yourself.

They may also ask for the address of the fire station in question as an account verification. They are listed below.

Firewalls at fire stations

Netgear FVS318

To reset to factory defaults push reset button on back of unit for 15 seconds.

Factory default Username=admin Password=password

Password is changed to firewall#guru

Firewall can be accessed on ports 1-8 at 192.168.0.1 or www.routerlogin.net from a locally attached computer.

Remote access is accessed on the static IP for each site on HTTPS://IPADDRESS:8080

You might have to connect with IE8 on an XP machine.

DHCP scope set to 192.168.0.11 thru 0.51 on each

The config for the firewalls is saved at I:\Net\PROJECT\EnergyManagementSystem\NetgearFirewalls

The same config file is used for all four firewalls and can be uploaded to a replacement firewall.

If a firewall is replaced WOW will have to be contacted and notified of the new MAC address for the internet port of the firewall so they can reassign the static IP address associated with the station to the new MAC address. Vince has the contact info for WOW and the account numbers for the stations.

Each controller at Stations 2-5 are addressed on 192.168.0.10
