Setting Up New User: Need to contact QVF per the Notice from the State:

The ADMIN account should only be used for creating a secondary account with administrator level access for adding or removing users. If you have any questions about the process, please contact the Help Desk at 800-310-5697 or via email at QVFHelpDesk@michigan.gov. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter!

Subject: Installing QVF client machines
You will find the instructions below for installing a second QVF machine (client machine). This consists of mapping a drive to the QVF server on the client and installing the front end QVF software on the client machine. Note that the client machine uses the data on the QVF server meaning that the server has to be powered up in order for the client to run. Also note that you may have to shut off the Windows firewall on the QVF server to get a successful install.
If you have any questions you can reach me at 517-241-2542.
Mark Diljak
Installing QVF client machines:
Map a network drive on the client machine to the letter "Q" pointing to a shared folder called QVFShare on the main QVF server in your office. You can use either the ip address or the computer name of the server. You may need the admin account from the QVF server--- check KeePass for username and password
Open the mapped Q drive on the client.
Open a folder called "Attached Replica Client" within the Q drive. "Q:\Software\Attached Replica Client"
Run the Setup file in the "Attached Replica Client" folder.
Enter either the QVF server name or the QVF Server ip address in the field called Replica Location and click Install at the bottom of the form. Ex. \\ipaddress or \\servername
The install runs very quickly.
Use the same username and password on the client machines to get into QVF as you do the QVF server.
INSTALLING QVF ON THE COUNTER PCs
Since the counter PCs have IP addressing for their own network, use \\192.168.15.1 (the QVF server's IP address), to access the QVF installation program, and to connect to the QVF printer.
**VNC is no longer needed on the 2 front counter PCs since they now have QVF installed, making remote access to other PCs unnecessary.
BitLocker Drive Encryption recovery key (DP1589)
To verify that this is the correct recovery key, compare the start of the following identifier with the identifier value displayed on your PC.
Identifier: 99C97B8A-7AD2-407C-85FD-5060C5F5E939
If the above identifier matches the one displayed by your PC, then use the following key to unlock your drive.
Recovery Key: See KeePass – search for QVFGUEST
If the above identifier doesn't match the one displayed by your PC, then this isn't the right key to unlock your drive.
Try another recovery key, or refer to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=260589 for additional assistance.
