Flip Q Teleprompter Software

Purchased and installed 09/10/2019 (mc)

Please follow these steps to download and activate Flip-Q PRO, your teleprompter software. The software can be installed on one PC and one Mac computer, multiple computer licenses are available. Make sure you go back and download the latest demo version before you install. If you are upgrading first deactivate and uninstall the old version of Flip-Q.

Go to http://www.prompterpeople.com/software-1/ and download either the Flip-Q demo for PC or the demo for Mac.

Installation:

Software is saved in g:\install\openapps\flipq

2. Install the download on the computer you intend to use for teleprompting.

3. Now, Open the Flip-Q software and click on "help" and select "register" from the drop down menu.

Click on "activate". Close and then re-start the software.

You should now be able to use Flip-Q. When you open the software go to "help" and select "contents" to read the software overview.

MAC users go into system preferences/security and if you see a message regarding FlipQ be sure to “allow” and approve it’s installation.

For MAC and PC be sure to make an exception or exclusion in any anti-virus programs or policy so your software will not be removed by such programs.

Moving Software:

If you want to move the software to another computer you must:

First deactivate it on the computer it is installed on. Uninstalling the

Software will not do this. You must be online then go to “help/register”

And then press deactivate. Now you can install the license on another Computer.

IT NOTE: If your software is being installed by an IT administrator they must install and register while they are logged in under your user name, not ADMIN. The software can only be accessed from the same user account it is installed under. Your administrator will need to grant your account full rights to your account to install and activate our software; then the regular permissions can be restored. IT may need to grant read/write access for the Flip-Q folder to the local account after removing admin credentials.
