Printer Notification Messages: Turn off "This document was sent to the printer"
Now that everyone is getting microsoft updates to their pc's, the pc's that have XP Service Pack 2 now get the printer notifications "This document was sent to the printer. These are annoying some of the users and I found a way to turn it off, but it has to be done to each pc.
Here's how to turn it off:
Start, Settings, Printers and Faxes
File, Server Properties
On the Advanced tab, uncheck the box "Show informational notifications for network printers"
