Increase the Maximum Number of Connections to SDE

If users are having a connection issues, it might be a lack of connections. On 8/28/2012, the number of connections on GISData was increased from 48 to 72. This should be enough.

On 1/29/2013 increased to 140.

This was used:

On Trapper get a command prompt.

sdeconfig -o alter -v CONNECTIONS=72 -u sde -D GISData -i sde:sqlserver:Trapper

The existing setting for maximum connections can be viewed in the SDE_server_config table. OR USE

sdeconfig -o list -u sde -p sdeguru -D GISData -i sde:sqlserver:Trapper
